Cancun Mexican and Seafood in Encinitas

Good Mexican food. Hidden behind the 7-11. They have a big menu but I always get the al pastor burrito. My only gripe was they charge way too much for a drink. It was almost $3.00 for a self service fountain drink. You can go next door to 7-11 and get your drink for a dollar.

Real good Mexican food reasonably priced for Carlsbad

This is one of my regular Mexican restaurants. The staff know us and are kind. They've never made a mistake on my order. I also like it because Berri Brothers gas is pretty cheap, so I fill up when I grab my food. One of our post-workout stops in case we're starving.

The food there is amazing. If you love Mexican food and want to try something new I recommend this place.

This place is a little hidden since it's kinda behind a gas station. Great food, tons of selection, and excellent service. They also have a nice salsa bar with a wide variety of different salsas to try. Definitely worth a trip

Best tacos in San Diego

Ignore the fact that this place is located next to a gas station. This is so not gas station food! The people are friendly and the food is delicious. I love the adobada fries are amazing, especially with some of their habanero onions on top!

Such a great restaurant! The food is delicious; the menu extensive, offering traditional Mexican dishes most other small Mexican restaurants don't offer. Wonderful seafood choices, too. It's very friendly, super clean and it has a great, varied Salsa Bar. They also give you complimentary chips with your order. Highly recommended.

Great food! Looks like they specialize in seafood but I played it safe with an adobada cali burrito and grilled fish taco. Both were delicious, wouldn't say best I've had but also tasted great. This was after a long run so hunger played a role. Worth coming back again. Free drink if you check in on Yelp.

Why anyone would open a Mexican food spot this close to Roberto's is beyond me. Yet these guys pulled it off. Fantastic seafood, and salsa bar, top off an incredibly unique offering that somehow makes life in Leucadia just that much more complete. They serve beer, plus you can get liquor at the 7-11 next door.

Wonderful!! Very very impressed. Easy early favorite for taco shops in the Encinitas area in my quest as I learn the area. Only come here if you want real Mexican food and you know what vibe that means. :P Happy the location scares off tourists.. no wait, good prices, friendly staff, and open seats. Gave a complicated order over the phone and they crushed it. Best salsa bar in the area. Can't wait to try more of their dishes.

Odd location next door (literally) to gas station store!The food is pretty legit. We had rolled tacos, carne asada burrito, grilled fish fillet and fish tacos.Everything was tasty and good sized portions.Ample options from the hot sauce bar (wished it was a little cleaner).Will come back and try other items for sure!

Decent food for the price, good salsa

Authentic and tasty. Great hole in the wall restaurant, but it was clean with some cafeteria style seating. The chile verde with corn tortillas was delicious!

Walked in after a long day at Lego Land with 4 families. Staff was terrific. Food was fast and very good with no errors. Crazy awesome since we had 24 orders! Flour tortillas were absolutely fantastic. Would totally recommend this place

Probably the least enjoyable Mexican cuisine in a beach resort in Mexico. The fajita was cold, the fish was questionable, the service very poor. The server brought a cheap wine with a screw on cap and offered the cap to smell. I thought it's a joke but no, he was serious

Best adobada burrito around. Fish tacos, either grilled or fried are excellent. I think it is the best taco shop in North County and we have a lot of good ones.

Delicious Homemade tasting Mexican food. Very mom & pop style and literally inside a gas station! We tried it out because of all the good reviews. My family each had different items and they were all delicious. Lots of all you can drink Horchatas and juices too! Just not a good place to impress a date.lol

Not only is the food delicious everytime I've been there, but the salsa bar is honestly the best I have EVER seen.

Good grilled fish burrito

I was looking for a place with fantastic seven sea soup and this is it!!! Definitely a big meal. Their burritos and tostadas are amazing! The staff is friendly handbags helpful. I will definitely be back here for more food whenever I’m in town. This is your typical family shop. If you enjoy Mexican food and seafood, then this is definitely the place to be. Location is next to the 711 which is a bit odd.

Had both the battered and grilled fish tacos. There was a lot of tortilla for a taco and the battered one was a little above average as it had a lot of batter compared to fish. I preferred the grilled one much more.

Inexpensive seafood take out place

Wow. So delicious! My husband got the breaded fish and carnitas tacos and I got carne asada and Adobada. They were all so delicious! They were regular size tacos, but came double up with two tacos and a good portion of filling. They were full of flavor! Don't let the gas station location throw you off, this is a hit!

For the price they charge for a carne asada burrito they could of at least filled up the tortilla with meat not more flour tortilla hardly no meat...flat pancake burritos is what they should callem....ay yai yai ...

Good but not great. Overpriced because it's right by the beach. I've had way better. It's not bad by any means, it's just I've had better. I had the Cali burrito. My wife had the surf and turf.

I was passing by and stopped to get some gas and saw the restaurant in the back corner of the building and decided to try it out. They have a good size menu and I order egg rancheros which was very good. Service was good. The only problem I saw was the location, if you didn't know it was there, you would drive right by it.

The 7 Sears soup is delicious, chicken Monterey, the chicken cilantro, and the drinks and recent replace the chairs for aluminum chairs. And the place is clean and the service is great. And is run by the family members,

Don’t let the fact that it shares a building with 7-11 scare you away. They have awesome burritos, excellent service, and the best salsa bar in town.

This place is great. It's hidden within a gas station parking lot. We were a group of about 20 & called ahead to see if there was enough space for us. They said yes they could take us in, they even clean/organized 5 tables and reserved them for us. Friendly staff, that take pride in serving REALL AUTHENTIC mexican food. Very casual place & just the right price for a family of five. The also sell beer. This is a "must go to place" when you are in the area. Enjoy!

By far one of the best Mexican food places in all of San Diego. Salsa bar is better than any. Fish burrito is awesome!

Very nice staff. Good menu selection. The food was great. I was surprised because the place didn't look like anything special. It's located by the side of a gas station. We only found it because we googled food places. It was empty when we went on but it filled up quickly. I can see why.

Nice and close to the beach. Due to road divider only accessible from one side. Easy to miss. Great burritos.
